Vocus Communications is a provider of fibre, data centre, unified comms, and cloud services to corporate and government entities. Vocus merged with M2 Group to create the 4th largest telco in Australia and 3rd largest in NZ with brands Commander, Dodo, iPrimus, Slingshot, Orcon, and Call Plus.
As part of Vocus Commutations 100% acquisition of Nextgen Networks and North West Cable System for $807m, the acquisitions are to be fully funded from an underwritten equity raising. The raising comprises a pro-rata $452m 1 for 8.90 accelerated, renounceable entitlement offer, and a $200m institutional placement including Sophisticated and Wholesale investors.
