Platinum Asset Management is launching a new ASX listed investment company, Platinum Asia Investments Limited (PAI), which will focus on providing long-term capital growth through investing primarily in undervalued listed securities of companies in the Asia region ex Japan.
PAI is seeking to raise upwards of $150 million, with one option attached to each share subscribed for at no additional consideration, exercisable during the first 20 months following allotment.
Sole arranger is CBA Equities Ltd, and Joint Lead Managers are Bell Potter, Lonsec, Morgan Stanley, and Ord Minnett.
